Question 40 – Can CBD help with migraines? Next question via chat GPT is can CBD help with migraines? I would say yes. I can attest to that just out of my own personal experience. I do from time to time get pretty bad migraines. It’s a it’s part of its own thing. I do have pretty bad TMJ that causes headaches. I do think it’s probably a byproduct.
A little bit of some of the same mechanisms that triggered, you know, depression and are probably in with that same range of just pressure, pressure and inflammation. I don’t really have anything to support that, but it does go hand in hand. I know for myself, there’s different types of migraines.
You have frontal lobe migraines. You have rear of the head migraines. I happen to get, I forget the… Proper name for it, but it it starts and it feels very heavy. It’s called like a gosh I can’t remember it But it’s something like a drape or like a something migraine that covers most of the front Up in here and then it screws up the vision starts to screw up the vision in one of my eyes pretty bad.
In fact, that’s one of my biggest red flags that i’m going to have That type of headache is that it’ll mess up the the vision in one of my eyes. More than, you know, more, more than usual. And so, I know that cannabidiol, at least for myself, is very, very, very, very helpful. That, and anything that assists with warmth.
In terms of like internal warmth, specifically niacin and ginger, and then I usually follow that by something that’s cooling. Specifically ice packs and like peppermint tea or MSM. Or Turmeric usually combined those if it’s really bad. But on it’s own, Cannabidiol is like a rock star for me at least.
And I, I know that I’ve gotten really good feedback about that from other people. I think it’s mostly just because it’s really effective in… Certain types of pain management helping to kind of quell that and calm that that pressure that can come with it. So, you know, I, I’d say for at least certain types, there’s some pretty good evidence that it does help quite a lot with migraines.
I wouldn’t want to be making necessarily like a curative statement, but I can say for my own personal use and from good research that’s been put out there specifically from Germany. And Colorado had some really great spots. So, yes, I think CBD can definitely help with migraines. Okay, thanks.
