Question 41 – Can CBD help with psoriasis? – Next question is can CBD help with psoriasis? It could help with the discomfort of it, but I would say that for psoriasis, a plain old hemp seed oil would do a great job. Both is something that you’re taking internally as an essential fatty acid, but also something that you’re using topically. For psoriasis, it’s kind of a, psoriasis and eczema, they throw you a little bit of a curve ball, like you would think with certain types, like if you leave it on for a little bit longer period.
And then, you know, kind of wash it off, but it actually works really good to kind of do a scrub and then just a light scrub to get rid of any of the tough or dead skin cells. And then you saturate the area with hemp seed oil and you can wrap it and kind of leave it on for a little while. But then after maybe like two or three hours, you do want to rinse it off because it becomes too damp.
And that dampness can also be an issue with dry skin. You want to make sure, it’s this weird balancing act. Anybody that’s ever had really bad problems, say like with their feet with calluses or dryness, or if you happen to have some type of a fissure, specific people who are either go barefoot a lot, or maybe if you wear really rough shoes, and especially people who have diabetes, and if you’re kind of neglect some of your foot care.
That can be a really bad issue. But if you do soak it in hemp seed oil, and then you gently rinse it off, kind of polish some of that dead skin, and if you do that two or three times, it can be really helpful over the course of maybe, you know, five days or something. Just do that every day. It can really, really help out.
Part, part of which because you’re hydrating that dry section with oil, and then you’re allowing it to be washed away and then gently scrubbed away. And allowing new skin to kind of come in and help take over for it. But yeah, internally as well, it can help with eczema and psoriasis. I think hemp seed oil is really great for dry skin in general both topically and internally.
So I wouldn’t say that CBD has really much to offer for psoriasis or eczema with the exception of helping with that pain that can come. It’s extremely helpful for that. But with regards to the underlying issue of dryness, you’re going to do a lot better just with plain old hemp seed oil and just applying that topically after you’ve washed the area, making sure it’s clean, and then doing a, you know, like, saturating it, if you can, even doing a small little wrap with some gauze and just leaving it on there for a little while, and then maybe after a couple hours you want to take that off And then gently rinse it with some warm, you know, some, some warm oil or warm water, excuse me, and soap and water to get that off and do a light scrub.
Okay? Okay.
