Question 56! Is Hemp safe for people with nut allergies? “Is hemp safe for people with nut allergies?” Oddly enough, yes, and there hasn’t been, like you think of  nuts and you think of things kind of like Brazil nuts and different types of legumes. But that’s kind of where there’s that line. A lot of these are legumes, but the hemp seed is a seed.

And so, especially when you’re getting it as a seed with the shell taken off which is how they’re most commonly consumed. Although, I would say… That if raw seeds that were available to eat were way better,  were around as much, that’d be even a better source. There, we do produce a lightly toasted hemp seed that is amazing that you can put on foods and make like a schnitzel.

You can use it in the way that you would a pepper grinder and put stuff on it. It makes some of the dullest regular humdrum everyday dishes taste. Fantastic. It’s such a great add in, but you know, we’re kind of working to that. I’m really encouraging a lot of chefs. And a lot of just juice bars and any, anywhere where you have something that is like cooked or fried or just a regular dish, like salads.

If you put a little bit of toasted hemp seeds that are crushed and scraped on top of it, all of a sudden it’s been elevated. That next, that level that dish is significantly elevated and it’s an easy, great way to do it to add a little bit of like je flair to your dishes.  But yeah, for people that have nut allergies, they do fine with hemp seed.

It is. It’s a seed, not a legume, and even out of that, it is,  there’s just really not people that are allergic to hemp. I mean, hypothetically, they exist out there, but  they’re so few and far in between, I just, I’ve never, I’ve never really heard of them. And you certainly don’t have issues with any type of a hemp product the way that you do normally with people that have nut allergies.

So yeah people that have nut allergies should do just fine with anything, any type of hemp. Okay? Okay.
