Question 39 – Can industrial hemp be used to make shoes?  Next question is, can industrial hemp be used to make shoes? Yeah.  Absolutely. In fact, one of my most favorite pairs of shoes is the the canvas ones that Sanuk does that is made with industrial hemp. They’ve got some like sneakers now. And I don’t know, I think the slip ons that I used to like are a, a seasonal shoe now.

They used to make them more regularly, but I think they’re consistent. And I love Sanuk. That’s just one example. But yeah, you can definitely make, not only can you make good shoes, but you can make really sturdy, awesome shoes from industrial hemp. The industrial hemp textile and fiber. It’s very resistant to mold.

It’s very resistant to certain types of damage. They’re easy to wash. So depending on the sole that’s on there and the way that it’s affixed, it can work really, really, really good. So, yeah, industrial hemp is a fantastic material for, for shoes and for sneakers. Even some biz cache  types of stuff.

They do hold the dye pretty well. So if you’re trying to get something that’s dyed black and looks nice or dyed a different color to match with some nice slacks or you know a dress  They look great So yeah, I think industrial hemp makes an awesome source  For shoes and yeah,  they’re great. Okay, cool
