Question 43 – Can CBD help with ED?  Next question is, can CBD help with ED?  Wow.  What I would say is over 80 percent of what gets characterized as erectile dysfunction and put within that umbrella for a lot of gentlemen has very, very little to do with anything medical. Nine times out of ten. It is a, a, a byproduct of a stress disorder and a lack of emotional connection in the, in the sense that they don’t feel comfortable being able to communicate with their partners as well.

There’s subsequent information that comes to us from the behavioral health world that’s, that suggests that. As time passes, that is a a component of the kind of like an unhealthy male stereotype. There’s some good books that are out there called The Legacy or The History of Depression or The Legacy of Depression in the American Male.

There’s another one that’s called I Don’t Want to Talk About It that all has to do with ways that gentlemen are accultured differently within the United States. With regards to the expression of discomfort, unhappiness, stress, feeling overwhelmed, and the way that that is expressed with their wives with their partners.

And it’s wide ranging, you know, and the farther back you go, 1940s, 50s stereotypes are pretty rigid, but a lot of that’s still here today, that bravado, etc. So ED kind of goes in with those.  A lot of that goes in with those particular issues. Like, a lot of research suggests that if the person affected by it is able to talk, and talk a lot more about some layers of things maybe that they’re stressed out about, or that they’re unhappy about, that the physical component of that sort of resolves.

In terms of like the straight medical part there’s a few different things that fit into it, but on the psychological side of it, I would say that CBD would definitely help, because it’s going to help someone relax more, communicate more, be affected by peripheral stress a lot less. If it’s more within the medical component, if there’s something that’s not, connecting right or you know, there’s a heart issue, anything along those lines.

I don’t know if it would really do much, but CBD can definitely help. Most likely with the psychological and emotional component of erectile dysfunction. That would be my, my suggestion. So hopefully that’s helpful. And yeah. Okay. Thank you for your question.
