Question 32 – Does CBD have an expiration date? This is a pretty cool question someone asked and that is, where is this? Does CBD have an expiration date? That’s weird. So, here’s

the deal. Cannabidiol, as it progresses, has a really long range of efficacy and use. Everything from just cannabidiol all the way until it transitions into CBDN or CBDG. That range that’s in there is quite a long range, almost five years once it’s been infused into something. And like wine, it gets stronger and stronger as time kind of goes past.

And then after just at, you know, that one certain point, then it’s kind of like, meh, not as good. But CBD usually lasts for at least about five years. Most often, the items that are used to try to map out a proper, like, best buy date for cannabidiol is the the base oil that is put into, or a peripheral ingredient that usually has a spoilage rate that is sooner.

And that’s normally what sets the date, not the actual cannabidiol itself, but the base oil. that it’s put into. And then that depends on the actual use. So a cannabidiol supplement that’s taken internally would be going off that guideline for a base. A cannabidiol that’s being used for topical use is like completely different.

You have years of good efficacy on a good CBD topical formula. Probably at least three to four years. Four years is really a pretty safe range. It will be everything else and the ingredients that are around it that you have to that you have to try to, you know. Make accommodations for that can be the source of going past it’s best buy window or expiration.

I think best buy is a much better way to phrase it for those types of substances. So you know, yeah, I mean it technically has some form of an expiration date. The cannabidiol really just changes into CBD-n and CBD-g. CBD-a turns into CBD. So, you know, in that very highly usable range, you still have quite a long window.

Almost six years if you’re starting from a mid CBDA to CBD CBDN. Okay? Okay.
