 Question 45 – How do you store CBD properly? Next question is, how do I store CBD? Best way to store almost any of your vitamins is out of direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. Cabinet, shaded. Our, my company’s particular cannabidiol is infused into hemp seed oil. Hemp seed oil is kept ideally fresh in the fridge. You really don’t want to have it stay too long over about 72 to 73 degrees.
I think that’s You know, right where you start compromising, potentially compromising some of its stability. Heat’s not quite as bad in really small increments like that as is direct sunlight. Direct sunlight will just tank that really fast. It causes really accelerated oxidation and it’s going to change that base.
from a trans, from a healthy fat into a trans-fat. So really try to keep your CBD out of direct sunlight. Keep all of your vitamins out of direct sunlight and keep them out of heat. You don’t want to store them in your purse and put your purse in the trunk and then go to the beach and come back. Cause like almost everything that you have in there is going to be ruined.
It’ll be just a total mess. That’s not great. So in terms of cannabidiol itself as an isolated ingredient, You’ve got a few more options, but I really wouldn’t mess with it. So, you know, just a cool, dry place and especially because of the base oil that most cannabidiols are in. Especially hemp seed oil.
