Question 22- Can CBD help with digestion? Next question is, can CBD help with digestion? I would say, not really, no. Cannabidiol in general may be able to help soothe a little bit, just in the sense that CBD-a and CBD are pretty helpful anti inflammatory in general.
That’s what research suggests. I’m just quoting some suggested evidence from some studies that were done in Oregon and Germany and Israel primarily.
And I mean, a little bit, I don’t really think that there’s any properties to cannabidiol just off the top of my head that would really do much for actual digestion. Like, really. And I’m, I mean, in thinking about the enzymatic breakdown of substances, now if you wanted to talk about inflammation of the gut, it could definitely help to reduce inflammation of the gut.
If you’re talking about soothing irritations within the within the lining of the digestive tract, I would think yeah it, I think that would definitely help and it will make it through. Your body and the stomach acids and you know stuff like that. So that’s cool. And if you were referring to maybe IBS, I do think cannabidiol could be very helpful for IBS.
I think it’s something along with turmeric root that if you load it up on on a regular basis you would be in a world of relief. And combined with a good probiotic, you could be doing really, really good. I think if you took a good probiotic with that, you’d probably get some great relief. Maybe even the ability to permanently heal that if you do it right for long enough.
You’re, you’re if it’s a plantable species of probiotic, you could potentially retrain it to, you know, fit exactly what’s off. And you know, if it happens to be something, say, like diverticulitis, it could definitely probably help to soothe some of the the issues that come up with that. So more in the digestive tract, and a little bit in the stomach lining maybe, I think that would help.
But as for the breakdown of food, or having a laxative effect to, Go number two a little bit easier and quicker. I would say no, it doesn’t have any of those properties, but helping with internal inflammation Yeah, I think it could help. Okay, okay
